Elon Musk expressed his dissatisfaction…then the government made this big decision and now the spectrum allocation will be like this

The Modi government has taken a major decision on the spectrum allocation process. The government took the step after the world’s richest man Elon Musk raised objections to the spectrum auction process championed by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Jio and Sunil Mittal’s company Bharti Airtel . Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced that satellite broadband spectrum will be allocated administratively.

Now spectrum allocation will be done like this
The government has decided to allocate satellite communications (Satcom) spectrum administratively under the spectrum auction route advocated by Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Bhatti Mittal. It is worth noting that Elon Musk’s Starlink is preparing to enter the Indian telecommunications field. Musk criticized the auction process in India and called it unprecedented.

Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is all set to enter the Indian telecom industry through his company Starlink and is keeping a close eye on every move regarding spectrum allocation. Here we tell you that Elon Musk has been critical of the spectrum auction process, but Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani has always prioritized the auction process.

Elon Musk voiced this objection
According to India Today, Elon Musk’s Starlink supports the administrative allocation of spectrum, and many companies, including Amazon Kuiper, also support this global process. Elon Musk has opposed the auction of broadband spectrum, saying that satellite spectrum has been nominated by the United Nations agency the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) as shared spectrum and therefore should not be auctioned under this process. He had said that India is also a member of the ITU.
