Eid al-Fitr 2024: Eid Milad-un-Nabi is also known as Eid-e-Milad. In Islam, Eid is celebrated as the birthday of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad. Eid Milad-un-Nabi is a special Islamic festival celebrated on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. History of Eid al-Fitr – Birth of Prophet Muhammad

The history of Eid al-Fitr is linked to the birth of the Prophet of the Islamic religion, Hazrat Muhammad Sahib. Hazrat Muhammad Sahib was born in Mecca in 570 AD. Sunnis celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad on the 12th of Eid al-Fitr, while Shias celebrate it on the 17th. This day not only marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad, but also commemorates his death.

The father of the Prophet died before he was born. When he was 6 years old, his mother also died. After the death of his mother, the Prophet Muhammad started living with his uncle Abu Talib and grandfather Abu Muttalib. His father’s name was Abdullah and his mother’s name was Bibi Amina. Allah first gave the Quran to the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad. After this, the Prophet took the message of the Quran to every corner of the world.
