ED raided Gaurav Gupta’s premises in Raipur to commit Bitcoin scam. ED is investigating money laundering in the Bitcoin scam that took place in 2018-19. Audio and screenshots of Gaurav Gupta’s conversation with NCP leader Supriya Sule and Congress leader Nana Patole are available It went viral on the Internet. The BJP has released audio and screenshots. ED has filed charges against Amit Bhardwaj and his family this year.
In fact, the mastermind of this scam was a man named Amit Bhardwaj. He carried out the scam in the name of investing in Bitcoin, and hundreds of investors were defrauded. By investing in Bitcoin, you are promised a 10% monthly return. In this way, Bitcoin worth Rs 6,600 crore was collected in 2017.
Amit Bhardwaj fled to Dubai after the scam but was deported back to India. Amit Bhardwaj died of heart disease in 2022.

Former IPS and cyber expert Ravindra Nath has also been included in the investigation team probing the case. The then Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and IPS Bhagya Shri allegedly snatched the Bitcoin wallets. In return, those Bitcoin wallets without any money in them are kept.
Ravindra Nath Gupta reveals secret after arrest
Ravindra Nath was arrested and jailed in this scam. Gaurav Mehta had testified in the case when Ravindranath was sent to jail. Gaurav Mehta plays an important role in this case. Ravindra Nath claims Gaurav Mehta told him on phone that he was being raped by Amitabh Gupta and Bhagyashree Framed.
They allegedly have a real Bitcoin wallet with a layer on top. Apart from Nana Patole, Supriya Sule is also included. ED arrested Shimpi Bhardwaj, Nitin Gaur and Nikhil Mahajan in the case.
Shimpi Bhardwaj is the wife of Ajay Bhardwaj, brother of Amit Bhardwaj. The audio clip has been sent as evidence. These have been used in 2019 and 2024.
