Enforcement Directorate (ED) officer Alok Kumar Ranjan has committed suicide. According to information, he was under investigation by ED and CBI in an alleged corruption case. Alok Ranjan was a resident of Ghaziabad and was working with the ED delegation in New Delhi. Earlier, he had worked in the Income Tax Department.
Recently, Alok Kumar Ranjan was questioned twice by the CBI in the alleged corruption case but he was released due to lack of evidence.
