DU Admissions 2024 CSAS 1st allocation list: Delhi University has released the first list of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to undergraduate courses (DU UG Admission 2024). Students who had registered in the first phase can now check the list by visiting the official website of DU du.ac.in or admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round will now have to accept it by 18 August 2024. The link to accept the seat will be available after the candidates log in to their account.

All colleges will verify and approve online applications from August 16 to August 20, 2024. Candidates will have to deposit the fees online by 21st August. For the first time this year, DU has given candidates the option to check the cut-off and rank, which determine seat allotment, on its dashboard.

How to Check DU UG CSAS 1st allocation list: Check this way
Step 1: First of all go to the official website of DU Admission admission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on DU UG CSAS 2024 First Allotment List link available on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will open where candidates can check the list.
Step 4: After checking the list, download the page and take a hard copy for further reference.

2,45,287 candidates applied for 71,600 seats
According to the official press release, this year DU will offer admission on approximately 71,600 seats (except additional seats) in 65 colleges/departments/centres. These include 1559 program + college combinations. The total number of preferences received by the university was 1,72,187. Whereas 97,387 candidates have been allotted seats. Maximum 10,096 seats have been allotted in B.Com (Hons).

As per records, a total of 2,45,287 candidates had applied for CSAS (UG) Phase I, out of which 1,85,543 candidates had completed CSAS Phase II by submitting their preference for program + college combination. Delhi University (DU) will use Class 12 scores to fill any remaining vacant seats after the completion of the regular admission round, says DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh.

If you want to withdraw your admission…
If a candidate who has taken admission in a program but wants to withdraw it, he/she can choose the ‘Withdraw’ option through his/her dashboard. However, for leaving the seat, the candidate will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 (non-refundable).
