2024-09-24 16:51:43 : The Dreame X40 Ultra has been launched in India and is the company’s latest robot vacuum equipped with mopping capabilities. This new flagship device from the Xiaomi-backed brand features a self-cleaning mop and an automatic emptying system with a suction power of 12,000Pa. The new sweeping robot is round in shape with a raised area at the top that houses a laser navigation system. It uses an RGB camera with AI and 3D structured light. The Dreame X40 Ultra is equipped with a 6,400mAh battery and can be controlled remotely using the Dreamehome app or paired voice assistant.

Dreame X40 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,29,999 in India and will be available via Amazon. It comes with a one-year warranty. The robot vacuum cleaner and mop combo will be available at a special promotional price of Rs. During the upcoming Great Indian Festival sale, the price is 99,999. Following early access to Amazon Prime subscribers on September 26, the sale will be available to all shoppers on September 27.
Dreame X40 Ultra Specifications, Features
Dreame’s new vacuum cleaner comes with a built-in RGB camera and 3D structured light technology for obstacle detection. It creates a four-level detailed room cleaning map that it says can identify and avoid up to 120 objects, including shoes, cables, and more.
The Dreame X40 Ultra features a turbidity sensor to ensure the mop is rewashed when necessary, and a tangle-free TriCut rubber brush to remove hair, pet hair, dust and larger debris. The self-cleaning machine has a suction power of 12,000Pa.
This vacuum cleaner comes with dual spin mops that can vacuum and mop your home. The side brushes can be raised by 10.5 mm and extend into corners and curved furniture legs. This feature is said to prevent cross-contamination between wet and dry soil. The robot can extend the mop up to 4 cm. It has a 3.2 liter vacuum bag and the machine is advertised as only needing to be emptied every 75 days of use.
Users can customize cleaning tasks using the compatible Dreamhome app. Users can set restricted areas and virtual walls for planning. There is a new curtain area in the app to help clean under curtains without getting stuck on them. Dreame X40 Ultra also supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri.
The Dreame X40 Ultra’s base station handles automatic bin emptying, hot water mop cleaning (70 degrees Celsius), self-cleaning washboard, automatic mop drying, and refilling of water and cleaning fluid. The fresh and used water tanks have a capacity of 4.5 liters. After cleaning the spin mop, blow dry with warm air for two hours. Dreame X40 Ultra comes with a 6,400mAh battery.
