The by-election for this seat has now opened. The former attorney general himself has filed a withdrawal petition with the court.
The court order will now be served on the Election Commission after former MLA Gorakhnath withdrew the petition. After this, further processes will begin. A bench of High Court bench of Justice Pankaj Bhatia was hearing the petition related to Milkipur on Monday. The court dismissed the petition of former PPP MP Baba Gorakhnath.
