In fact, Guna district’s District Education Officer Chandrashekhar Sisodia is accused of often ignoring the instructions of District Collector IAS Satendra Singh. It is claimed that due to the controversial working style of the DIO, the arrangements of the education department have been badly affected.
Collector Satendra Singh said that work is being done on a war footing to improve the arrangements in the education department but the District Education Officer ignores the orders of the District Magistrate.
During the public hearing, when the collector asked the DEO for information on some subject, the DEO was unable to provide the information. Seeing this negligence, the collector got angry. The DEO tried to save the employee by merely following the formality of issuing notice, seeing which the collector got angry. The collector considered it a case of corruption.
The video of the DEO being reprimanded is now going viral. When asked what was the reason for the reprimand, the collector said that the DEO takes action by issuing notices at his own level.
