Sheikh Hasina’s son has said a big thing about the return of exiled Sheikh Hasina from the country after resigning. Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wajed had said in a media conversation that Sheikh Hasina will return to Bangladesh as soon as democracy is restored in Bangladesh. However, what is Sheikh Hasina’s future plan and where will she go and when will she return? Her son has given his views to Aaj Tak on these questions.

Have not applied for asylum anywhere
Where will Sheikh Hasina go next? On this Sajeeb Wajed said, ‘There is a lot of misinformation. Sheikh Hasina has not yet applied for asylum anywhere. Neither in the UK, US nor Finland. He has no plans to go anywhere so far from his country. He intends to return to Bangladesh soon. Whether she will continue her political innings or retire is a matter for later.

Why did Sheikh Hasina leave Bangladesh?
Will she stay in politics or withdraw from politics? In response to this question, he said that no decision has been taken yet in this regard. There is a need for reshuffle in the party and she is focusing on it. Responding to the question of why Sheikh Hasina left Bangladesh, her son Wajed said that she was disappointed when she saw that our leaders and workers were being killed. We said that our leaders and workers cannot be left like this. They have to be organized and kept safe. She strongly believes in the strength of the Awami League and hopes to make a strong comeback.

Before this, Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy has blamed ISI for sparking unrest in Bangladesh and said that Pakistan has a hand in it. Talking about the possibility of Sheikh Hasina returning to Bangladesh, he said that her mother will return to her country as soon as democracy is restored in Bangladesh. She will definitely make a comeback but it has not been decided yet whether she will return as a retired leader or as an active leader.

He said that the family members of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will not leave their people and their party Awami League in the lurch. Awami League is the biggest and oldest party of Bangladesh, so in such a situation we cannot turn our back on our people. After the restoration of democracy in Bangladesh, she will definitely return to her country.

He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for the safety of his mother Sheikh Hasina and requested them to put pressure on the restoration of democracy in Bangladesh. Joy said that I am wholeheartedly thankful to the Indian government for the safety of my mother. I am grateful to PM Modi. If India wants stability in its eastern region then they will have to put pressure on the international community. Talking about the ‘India Out’ campaign in Bangladesh, Joy said that anti-India forces are very active and by ousting the Awami League from power, the ISI can now supply as many weapons as it wants to Bangladesh.
