Former US President Donald Trump has criticized Google saying that he is being censored on the search engine. He says that information related to him and his photographs have been censored on search engines, which is quite irresponsible. In a similar statement, he said that the CEO of Facebook has accepted his mistake and has also apologized to him.

Trump, the Republican Party candidate in the US presidential elections, says that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also told him that he ‘will not support the Democrats’.

Donald Trump’s accusation on Google

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said, “Google is very bad. They are very irresponsible. I think Google is getting closer to a shutdown because Congress will not tolerate it. Google has to be careful.” He alleged that it was difficult to find a picture or anything else on Google about the fatal attack on him on July 13. Google, however, has denied these allegations.

Google said in a social media post that in the last few weeks, people on X have complained that searches on Google are being ‘censored’ or that some terms are being ‘banned’, while this is not the case. Not there. Actually, what is being complained about is an autocomplete feature, which is meant to save your time.

Google admitted that news of the deadly attack on Trump was not being predicted in the autocomplete feature. That’s because it has protections related to political violence, and those systems were outdated in those days. Google admitted that that feature should have been visible to the user, but it was not visible that day. The search engine clarified that the feature is being fixed after the incident and the complaint received related to it.

What did Trump say about Facebook CEO?

Donald Trump said of the Facebook CEO, “Mark Zuckerberg called me. Actually, he called several times.” Referring to the Pennsylvania attack, he said Zuckerberg told him, “(the program) was good, bravery.” Trump claimed that Zuckerberg promised him that he was, “not going to support the Democrats. He also respected me for that day.”
