Newly elected US President Donald Trump has appointed his daughter Tiffany’s father-in-law as adviser on Middle East affairs. Trump announced on Sunday the appointment of Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos as senior adviser for Arab and Middle East affairs. Burrows is a close friend of Trump. Trump’s daughter is married to Burrows’ son.
Samadhi campaigned for Trump
Burrows supported Trump during the election to appeal to Michigan’s Arab American community. During the campaign, he was angered by Democratic President Joe Biden’s support for Israel’s attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, holding dozens of meetings in areas with large Arab-American populations.
