Eliminate the terrorist Usman.
Usman, commander of the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, was killed by security forces during an encounter in Hanyar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. In addition to the bravery of the troops, biscuits also played a large role in the success of the campaign. This time, through the military’s many operations, it has been proven that in addition to guns, AI and other things are also very effective in encounters. Something similar happened this time in the Kanyal encounter where the army achieved great success in the mission because of the biscuits.
In order to kill Commander Usman, as a strategy, the army issued biscuits to the search team to stop the stray dogs from barking, so that when the army marched towards the target, the stray dogs could not bark and the army could successfully complete the mission. After the Hanyar encounter, senior officials said the encounter in Srinagar’s Hanyar area was the first such major operation in Jammu and Kashmir in more than two years.
Dog barking alerts terrorists
Regarding the encounter, the Army said that when intelligence gathered that Usman was present, officers formulated a nine-hour plan to ensure that the operation was successful and did not cause any losses. An important challenge faced by the military during this period was stray dogs, in fact terrorists were often alerted by the barking of these dogs.
To address this issue, cookies were given to the security forces. As the search team began moving toward the target, they fed the stray dogs biscuits to calm them. This was a unique strategy that contributed significantly to the success of the campaign.
Usman knows the area well
The operation was carried out by a joint operation of local police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). During the operation, the Army said Usman, who was notorious for his terror activities in the early 2000s and had infiltrated back into the region in 2016-17 after spending some time in Pakistan, knew the valley area well. Not only that, the terrorist was also involved in the murder of police sub-inspector Masroor Wani last year.
With this successful operation, the security forces also achieved great success in combating the Lashkar-e-Taiba offshoot, the Resistance Front. The branch has been involved in attacks on migrant workers and security personnel. This encounter clearly demonstrates how far security forces can go in finding unique and unconventional solutions to ensure the success of operations.
