Vodafone Idea is the third largest telecommunications company in the country. Like Jio and Airtel, Vi also increased the prices of its recharge plans in July. Private companies have been losing subscribers ever since they raised the prices of their plans. Since July, thousands of users have switched to BSNL for cheaper plans. However, the loss of customers doesn’t seem to matter to Vi anyway.
In fact, Vodafone Idea has once again brought a huge shock to tens of millions of SIM card users. The company has slashed benefits on two recharge plans. The move comes as the company has been losing customers over the past few months. SIM card users will suffer huge losses due to Vi’s new decision. Let us give you a detailed look at the changes that have taken place in the two plans of Vodafone Idea.
Vi changes plan for Rs 289
If you are using a Vodafone Idea SIM, the benefits you will get on the Rs 289 plan will be reduced now. Vi reduces the effectiveness of this recharge plan. The company is initially offering 48 days validity to customers on this recharge plan. Apart from this, you also get unlimited free calls, data and 100 daily SMS messages across all networks. However, now customers only get 40 days validity on this Rs 289 recharge plan.
The Rs 479 plan has also changed
Vi’s Rs 479 plan is a long-term plan. In this plan, the company offers its customers a validity period of 56 days. Apart from this, the plan also provides customers with unlimited calls across all networks. Vi has shortened its validity period by 8 days. Now your validity is only 48 days. In addition to effectiveness, Vi also cuts out data advantages. In this recharge plan, earlier customers could use 1.5GB data per day, but now they can use only 1GB data per day. In addition to this, you also get 100 free text messages every day.
