Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) chief and Nagina MP Advocate Chandrashekhar talked about the neglect of UP in the budget during the discussion on the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha. He said that UP is the largest state in the country but it has not got anything in the budget. Chandrashekhar said that we 80 members have won from UP. The population of UP is about 25 crores but it has got next to nothing in the budget. The government is giving five kg ration but that is not enough to live. More basic facilities are needed if a life of dignity is desired.
He said that the government has no solution for that. Chandrashekhar said that in a big state like UP, the pace of development of the BJP government is very slow. We are not worried about the government, we are worried about the people of UP. He said that our demand from the central government is that UP should be divided into four states. Quoting Dr. Ambedkar, he said that the smaller the state, the more will be the progress of the state. People will get employment and people’s lives will be prosperous.

Chandrashekhar said that the schedule cast has been cheated by the Supreme Court. He said that if our people were so friendly, then 10 percent could have been given through EWS, then 5 percent could have been given for SC castes also. But there is no will to uplift the poor. It could have been given to OBC castes also. Chandrashekhar said that both the government and the opposition should clear their stand regarding this. Dalit and tribal society will not forget those who cut their throats.
Issue of Vinesh Phogat’s disqualification raised
Chandrashekhar said that he was trying to speak on Vinesh’s issue since morning. When he was disqualified, it felt as if someone had stabbed him. He said that we have spent nights in that movement, have taken four bullets each. She is not the daughter of Haryana, she is the daughter of the country. Chandrashekhar said that this is a matter related to the identity of the country. A gold medal was coming our way. The country would have been proud. What is the reason that his weight increased?

He said that Vinesh would have brought glory to this country but today she is facing humiliation. The government minister said that we gave so much money and did this and that.
