The Ganderbal district administration is fully prepared for the elections scheduled to be held on September 25, 2024.
District Electoral Officer (DEO) Shyambir appealed to all eligible voters to participate in this important democratic process and exercise their right to vote.
In his address, the DEO emphasized the importance of voter turnout and urged all citizens to step out of their homes and vote. He stressed the importance of choosing their franchise and said every vote contributes to the future development of the region and the well-being of the people.
To ensure the smooth conduct of voting, the Registration and Electoral Office has reminded voters to bring any approved identity document to the polling station for verification.
The DEO also assured voters that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and secure voting environment at all polling stations in the district.
Additionally, to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the voting process, all voters are required to bring valid identification to their respective polling stations and the use of mobile phones is not allowed inside the polling stations.
