Congress leader and Rai Bareilly MP Rahul Gandhi arrived in Rai Bareilly today for a one-day visit. Rahul Gandhi arrived at Lucknow airport after which he decided to continue his journey by road. Meanwhile, like every time, Rahul Gandhi stopped to pray at the Chulva Hanuman temple.
Rahul Gandhi performed the puja as per the rituals. Whenever Rahul Gandhi traveled to Raebareli by road, he would stop at the temple and offer prayers at the Hanuman Temple built at Bahravan Churwa. This is the Congress MP’s third visit to Rai Bareilly and fifth visit to Uttar Pradesh after the Lok Sabha elections.
Disha attended the meeting
After reaching Rai Bareilly, Rahul Gandhi reached Degree College junction and inaugurated the newly built Shaheed Chowk. Thereafter, Rahul Gandhi attended Disha’s meeting at Bachat Bhawan. Amethi MP KL Sharma will also be part of all these plans along with Rahul Gandhi. Administrative officials including MLAs and MLCs will also attend the meeting in Disha. After this meeting, Rahul Gandhi will leave for Fursatganj Airport at 2:30 pm.
will lay the foundation stone for the road
Rahul Gandhi has been in touch with Rai Bareilly on many important projects and apart from attending Disha’s meeting, Rahul Gandhi will also launch many initiatives during his visit. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate the roads constructed under the PMJSY scheme.
Head to Hyderabad in the evening
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said about the visit of Rahul Gandhi, who is the MP from Rai Bareilly. The Disha meeting is chaired by members of the Lok Sabha. Despite such a busy schedule, Rahul Gandhi had to go to Rai Bareilly to fulfill his duties as a Member of Parliament. He will also inaugurate some roads. He also said that this is Rahul Gandhi’s one-day visit after which he will leave for Hyderabad in the evening.
