For the past several days, BJP’s UP unit has been in the news across the country. In such a situation, the statement of UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Chaudhary has come amid the turmoil over the internal politics of the party. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party is a democratic party, everyone has the right to express their views in a democratic manner. We are moving forward with discipline. The results did not come as per our expectations. We are working on the flaws. Along with this, while talking about the post of Chief Minister, Bhupendra Chaudhary said, “The discussion of changing the CM is wrong.”

What is going on in the politics of Uttar Pradesh? For the last few days, only one question has been floating in the political circles. The news of statements, meetings and internal meetings has kept the atmosphere in UP heated.

Both Deputy CMs stayed away from review meetings

CM is continuously holding review meetings after the Lok Sabha election results. All the MLAs, MPs and ministers of the division are being called. Except Varanasi, meetings of all the divisions have been held. Lucknow Mandal meeting has been scheduled today at 11:30 am. There is lunch or dinner after every meeting. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya did not attend the review meeting in Prayagraj. BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary stayed away from the Moradabad division meeting. Now even Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak is not attending the review meeting of Lucknow division. Both the Deputy CMs have not yet attended any review meeting. In these review meetings, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath probed the hearts of all the MLAs, ministers, MLCs and other public representatives.

Some maintained silence, some targeted officers

The public representatives who could not attend the review meeting with the Chief Minister met the Chief Minister separately. In the review meetings, some MLAs complained about the working of officials and officers, but most of the people kept silence. Most of the MLAs have complained about the officers in one to one meetings with the Chief Minister.

It is believed that by-elections are going to be held on 10 assembly seats. In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken charge. They are not only getting information about the preparations, but can also discuss the sentiments and proposals of the MLAs with the top leadership in the review meeting.

Allegations of bureaucracy being dominant in UP

Actually, NDA has suffered a big setback in the general election results in UP. Public representatives including BJP leaders say that bureaucracy dominates the state. Workers are not being heard at the lower level. There is resentment and disappointment among the workers from the booth to the district organization. This is the reason why Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called a meeting with the public representatives of each division and discussed with them about development. Big leaders of allied parties are also complaining about bureaucracy. There is resentment among the leaders and MLAs regarding the officers and they are also expressing this resentment through letters and media. However, in the review meetings of most of the divisions, more emphasis has been laid on the future roadmap. In the divisional review meeting of Azamgarh, an MLA had complained about the officer to the Chief Minister, but there was no discussion on the officer in the meeting of Moradabad division.

Is this a show of strength or an attempt to reduce resentment?

Meeting MLAs, ministers and public representatives, the Chief Minister is constantly trying to convey the message that if there is any dissatisfaction with the unbridled bureaucracy, he is ready to take steps to remove it. BJP MLAs in Uttar Pradesh have now started expressing their views openly. The faces of most of the OBC MLAs are bright these days. Because they feel that now many factions have formed in BJP. Some people are meeting Keshav Maurya and expressing their pain and suffering, while some are directly meeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and expressing their views.

In recent days, MLA Sushil Singh from Syed Raja, Pradeep Chaudhary from Bulandshahr and Nand Kishore Gurjar gave open statements against the bureaucracy. Nandkishore Gurjar, who had come to attend the meeting of Moradabad division, targeted the unbridled bureaucracy and also said in gestures that if the Chief Minister asks for proof of this, then where should he get the proof… Our words are the proof.
