October 27, 2024: Diljit Dosanjh kicked off the Indian leg of his Dil-Luminati tour in Delhi but the concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium did not go ahead as planned At first, fans were annoyed. The performance, which was originally scheduled to start at 7pm on Saturday, did not start until around 7:50pm, leaving fans waiting for nearly an hour in the hot weather.

Hundreds of fans packed the venue eager to hear hits like “Born to Shine,” “GOAT,” “Lemonade,” “5 Taara” and “Do You Know.” However, as the stage lights went out and there were no updates, frustration grew among the crowd. After the show finally got underway, many fans took to social media to share their joy, while some expressed impatience with the show’s delay. Despite the setback, Diljit made up for the delay with an energetic performance and even shared a picture of him arriving in India and interacting with fans on Instagram with the caption: “Delhi Ka Mausam Kya Keh Raha Hai. DIL -LUMINATI Tour’s 24th Year.”
The show marks the start of Diljit’s India tour, with the second concert scheduled for October 27 in Delhi.
