October 27, 2024: Diljit Dosanjh returns to India to kick off his Dil-Luminati tour at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in spectacular style.
The concert kicked off with cheers from fans, and Diljit proudly waved the Indian flag after the opening ceremony. Wearing all black, he performed high-energy hits such as “Born to Shine,” “GOAT” and “Do You Know.”
Expressing his joy at returning home, Diljit shared, “Banda jitthe marji jaa ave, jitthe marji show laa ave, jado apne ghare aunda hai, taa khushi taa hondi hai right…” eliciting strong reactions from the audience. resonated and won thunderous applause.
Fans lined up outside the stadium before the concert began, and social media was abuzz with excitement. Prior to the concert, Diljit visited the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to pray and seek blessings, emphasizing his connection with his roots.
After an extensive international tour, his enthusiasm was palpable as he teased the Delhi concert on Instagram and mentioned the city’s weather. The Dil-Luminati tour will continue across India, stopping at cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune.
On the film front, Diljit recently announced that he will star in Border 2 alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, and the shooting of the film will begin in November. His exciting music and film projects promise an eventful year ahead for the artist.
