Aparna is the younger daughter-in-law of SP patron and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. She is the wife of Prateek Yadav. Recently, on September 3, the UP government issued an official notification and Aparna was given the responsibility of vice-president in the State Women’s Commission. There were reports that Aparna is angry with the party and is not ready to accept the post of vice-president. This post is not considered to be in accordance with her stature. However, she did not make any public statement. Speculations were made because other members of the commission’s panel have taken charge, but Aparna has not joined yet.

Meanwhile, Yogi government minister Dayashankar Singh also reached Aparna Yadav’s house to meet her. Both of them had a long discussion on this issue. According to sources, Dayashankar assured Aparna Yadav that he will take this issue to the top leadership. Then the news came that Aparna has met her uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav. Amidst the resentment, speculations started being made on this meeting as well.

Now on Monday, Aparna and her husband Prateek Yadav reached Lucknow to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. There was a long conversation here. This meeting is being linked to the news of displeasure. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office posted on the X handle and wrote, Vice President of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission Mrs. Aparna Bisht Yadav ji along with her husband Prateek Yadav ji made a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji Maharaj in Lucknow today.
Did Aparna Yadav agree?
After this tweet, it is believed that Aparna Yadav has agreed after meeting CM Yogi Adityanath. On the ex handle of CM Yogi Adityanath’s office, Aparna has been addressed as the Vice President of the Women’s Commission.
Earlier, Aparna Yadav had spoken to BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary. Sources said that Aparna had expressed her displeasure to Chaudhary in this conversation.
Although Chaudhary had advised her to accept the post because no post is small or big. Despite this, Aparna has not accepted this post till now. Not only this, welcome posters were put up at many places in Lucknow in honor of Aparna, but she did not participate in any program nor did she respond to any congratulatory message. She has not given any reaction on this topic on social media till now.
Sources also say that Aparna Yadav also discussed this issue with Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday morning, but it has not been officially confirmed yet. Information about what was discussed between the two has also not been revealed.
Aparna contested the 2017 UP assembly elections from Lucknow Cantt seat on a SP ticket and lost. She then joined the BJP in January 2022.
