Today is Constitution Day and the founding day of Aam Aadmi Party. Former Delhi chief minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal delivered a speech here, once again targeting the BJP. He said that despite conspiracies, the government can govern honestly and our party has proven this. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has been established for 12 years. Today is our 13th birthday party. Today is also India’s Constitution Day.
Former CM Kejriwal said this could not be a coincidence. After much deliberation, God gave birth to the Aam Aadmi Party after 70 years of independence. Maybe they feel the Constitution is in danger. God gave the broom the symbol of election so that it could clean away dirt. This fight is destined for us.
Adversaries are imitating us – Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal said that in these 12 years, we have not only formed governments in two states but also formed mayors, councilors and MLAs. It provides a model of governance for the country. He said those who attack us for a free binge also start talking about schools, hospitals, roads, electricity and water.

The AAP National Convener said that our party and our volunteers work in the spirit of patriotism. We do not provide anything to volunteers. Attacking him, he said, “Our opponents pay tribute to the Aam Aadmi Party every six months and the party is over.” I went to jail, Manish Sisodia went to jail, Sanjay Singh went to jail, and every failure meant the party was over.
12 years ago people used to laugh at us – Atishi
Delhi Chief Minister Atish also addressed the meeting. He said when the anti-corruption and Lokpal movement started, people across the country came out and demanded change. When we founded the party 12 years ago, people often laughed at us, saying that you have neither financial resources nor physical strength, so how can you fight? In 2013, when Arvind Kejriwal was contesting against three-time chief minister Sheila Dikshit, people said he could not get even a single seat.
What could not be done in 75 years has been done – Atish
Chief Minister Atish has also targeted the BJP during this period. He said that the BJP had done many conspiracies against our government and political parties but in 2015 it had secured 67 seats out of 70. Thereafter, in 2020, he once again worked hard to form a government. The work that had been unfinished for 75 years was finally completed. He said, “For 12 years, we have found that people who studied in government schools were ashamed to speak up and now they are studying in Indian Institutes of Technology and engineering.
The Aam Aadmi Party was harassed, our leaders and leaders were thrown in jail, but we did not collapse. Another election is held in February. Our party aims to make Arvind Kejriwal the chief minister for the fourth time.
