2024-09-23 09:13:57 : District Election Officer Poonch, Vikas Kundal conducted a thorough inspection of multiple polling stations including Bandi Chechian High School, Shah Pur, Islamabad and various locations in interior villages to assess the results of the scheduled Assembly elections. Preparations September 25th.
During the visit, DEO Kundal reviewed key aspects necessary for a smooth electoral process. He also assessed the installation of CCTV cameras to enhance security and surveillance at polling stations.
Additionally, he assessed the adequacy of water and electricity supplies to ensure voters receive basic services on election day.
Kundal placed special emphasis on the importance of ramps and other accessibility features in an effort to create a voter-friendly atmosphere for people with disabilities.
He noted that significant efforts were made to ensure that all polling stations were equipped with necessary facilities to support a seamless voting experience.
Kundal stressed the need to create an attractive environment for voters and said that well-prepared polling stations not only facilitate the voting process but also enhance public confidence in the electoral system.
