The Municipal Corporation has given 30 days to the Masjid Committee for this. Along with this, giving strict orders, it said that either the Masjid Committee itself should demolish the illegal structure or the administration will demolish it. In such a case, the Masjid Committee will either have to remove the illegal structure or else it will have to appeal against the order of the Municipal Corporation within 30 days.

Let us tell you that various Hindu organizations took out a rally on Friday regarding the illegal construction of a mosque in Mandi. In view of this rally, the police also used water cannon to disperse the protesters. After this huge uproar in Mandi, Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan said that action will be taken against illegal construction. The mosque will be sealed.

He said that there was no permission under TCP, so the department cut off the electricity and water supply of the mosque. Right now the mosque is not being sealed, action is being taken by the Municipal Corporation. The land records of the land are in the name of the mosque, there is just some encroachment on PWD land, which was demolished after demarcation.

What did CM Sukhu say on the mosque dispute?

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that illegal construction has come to light in Mandi. A committee will be formed regarding the mosque dispute. This is a peace loving state, where all religions are respected. No religion or caste will be hurt. Our government will take action as per the law. Illegal construction is not acceptable. But action will be taken within the ambit of law even regarding illegal construction.

CM Sukhu said that we want the Vidhan Sabha to form a committee on street vendors and settle local disputes. A committee will be formed on street vendors. People come from outside and do illegal construction, which also causes problems to the people. Protests keep happening in Himachal Pradesh. There is nothing new in these. We will take action as per the law in the Shimla Masjid case as well.

Hindu organizations and local people protested against illegal construction in the mosque premises in Sanjauli area of ​​Shimla. During this, the protesters also clashed with the policemen. The protesters marched towards the mosque and raised slogans like ‘Himachal ne thana hai, Devbhoomi ko bachana hai’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’. During this, the police tried to stop them by putting up barricades, which the people broke and started moving forward. The police used water cannon and lathicharged to disperse the crowd.
