The weather patterns seem to be changing in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. The people here have got relief from the humid heat and the temperature is also decreasing. However, people are still waiting for good monsoon rains. There was no torrential rain this season in NCR including Delhi and Noida, but whenever there was heavy rain, there were such clouds that the lack of prolonged rain had to be compensated.

With the onset of monsoon, there was heavy rain all over Delhi on 28th June, after which it rained heavily on 29th July and till now people are waiting for the rain. According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on 7th and 8th August, while there is a possibility of heavy rain in Noida on 9th and 10th August. Ghaziabad can also see rain on 9th and 10th August, but before that i.e. on 7th and 8th August, drizzle can be seen in NCR.

Apart from this, Skymet, the weather forecasting agency, says that monsoon is going to remain active in the capital Delhi for a long time in the coming days. Seasonal rains will continue throughout this week. Monsoon rains will intensify and spread around the end of the week. Good rain is expected in Delhi today, August 7, with heavy rain at some places in the evening and night. At the same time, sporadic weather activities will continue throughout the week. During this period, there may be more than 100 mm rainfall in the capital Delhi and it may reach close to the monthly target of 233.1 mm.
