Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a major setback ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi next year. Senior party leader and Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot left the party and resigned from the party on Sunday. In his resignation letter to AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Gehlot pointed out the “serious challenges” faced by the party. Party chief Gehlot also took a dig at Kejriwal and raised some “shameful” controversies like ‘Sheeshmahal’ and said it made everyone wonder “whether we still consider ourselves ‘common people'” .
