Delhi Chief Minister Atish at cabinet meeting
The Cabinet meeting of the Delhi government was held at the Secretariat on Sunday. During this time, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Water Minister, Government of Delhi, and Chief Minister Atishi were also present. The meeting was held specifically to reinstate enforcement personnel on Delhi buses. During this period, the cabinet submitted a relevant report to Delhi Chief Minister Atish.
A day ago, the Delhi government approved a proposal to reinstate civil defense volunteers. CM Atishi on Saturday took the important decision to redeploy bus enforcement personnel. He said at a press conference that the 10,000 bus operators who were dismissed will be rehired. Meanwhile, the report was presented to Chief Minister Atish in a meeting today. It is recommended that bus personnel resume their duties immediately.
Cabinet proposals will be presented to the lieutenant governor
The report said that 10,000 law enforcement personnel will be redeployed on Delhi buses. Meanwhile, the meeting decided to submit the Cabinet proposal to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena. Yesterday, Atish assured the bus marshals that proposals for permanent appointments would be sent to the deputy governor in the coming days.
It is understood bus crews will be involved in pollution prevention operations in February before being given permanent appointments. According to the Delhi government, a call notice will be issued from Monday for 10,000 bus duty personnel who were removed from duty last year. In the meantime, all you have to do is register at the Marshal District Sheriff’s Office after one day.
Frustrated all the PPP’s plots
Atishi said that within two or three days after registration, CDVs will be deployed in the most polluted locations to prevent dust pollution and manage waste incineration. In 2018, bus officers were deployed on buses for the safety of women. Meanwhile, he was relieved of his duties last October.
