A Delhi court on Wednesday summoned former railway minister Lalu Prasad, his son and former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashvi Yadav and others in the land-for-salary money laundering case.

Special judge Vishal Gogne directed the accused to appear before the court on October 7.

The judge made the order after considering additional charges against the accused.

The ED submitted its final report to the court on August 6. The central agency had filed the case based on the FIR filed by the CBI.

The IAB said the case involves D-Team appointments in the railways’ West Central zone at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh between 2004 and 2009 when Lalu Prasad was railway minister, in exchange for land given or transferred by recruits in the name of family members or associates of RJD leaders. (PTI)
