A 40 year old man died due to electric shock in the capital Delhi. Regarding this incident, the police said that a person lost his life due to electric shock while collecting rain water near his house in Prem Nagar area of ​​North-West Delhi.

According to the news agency report, on Thursday the police received information that Lallan Mishra, living in Kirari, has died due to electric shock. Upon reaching the spot, police found Mishra lying unconscious and took him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, an official said.

He said that initial inquiry revealed that when Mishra tried to connect the water pump to the switchboard, he got electrocuted. Mishra’s wife said in her complaint that the area near their house was flooded after rain. Her husband had brought a pump from the local MLA’s office to pump out the water.

At around 2.30 pm on Thursday, Mishra’s wife saw that her husband was lying in water and a wire was wrapped around his body. Meanwhile, BJP has alleged that Mishra lost his life due to the negligence of Kirari MLA Rituraj Govind. There has been no reaction on this from MLA Govind. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to Mishra’s family. The officer said, necessary legal action will be taken after investigation.
