Artificial Learning in IIT Jodhpur: Artificial Intelligence (AI) will now be taught at IIT Jodhpur. The institute has launched a BSc/BS course in Applied AI and Data Science in collaboration with Futurance. AI is spreading rapidly in the world of technology, so IIT Jodhpur has taken this decision so that today’s students can get a good education in these important subjects. This unprecedented program, designed for both students and working professionals, meets the growing demand for AI experts in the emerging technological landscape.
Professor Avinash Kumar Agarwal, Director, IIT Jodhpur, emphasized the importance of equipping students with modern skills for the future. He said, “In our today’s world, it is necessary to solve big and complex problems in creative ways. Therefore, our aim is to provide students enrolled in the BSc/BS in Applied AI and Data Science course with the necessary modern skills and capabilities to help them succeed in the rapidly changing global world.”

How will the study be done in AI course?
The BSc/BS in Applied AI and Data Science will offer a unique next-generation model, with classes taken both online and on-campus.
This course allows students to obtain certificates in various stages as per NEP. Certificate in the first year, diploma in the second, BSc degree in the third and BS degree at the end of the fourth year. This will give students the opportunity to move forward at their own pace while enhancing their skills. Students will also be given annual training at IIT Jodhpur, so that they can directly experience the institute and its academic quality
