There was a stir in the area after a property dealer and his wife were found dead in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Regarding the incident, the police said that on Saturday, the dead body of a property dealer and his wife was found in their own house in Green Park Colony of Baradari police station area.
He said that the deceased have been identified as Alok Singh (52) and his wife Ritu Singh (45). The bodies of both of them were found on the bed of their room. Regarding this incident, SSP Anurag Arya said that the house was locked from inside and no outsider could reach there.
Police said that from the initial investigation it seems that Alok first shot his wife and then committed suicide. Police have recovered a licensed pistol and cartridges from the spot.
Police said forensic teams have collected samples from the spot and a detailed investigation is underway. He told that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the police is busy investigating the case.
