October 14, 2024: The much-anticipated trailer Dupati has dropped, giving viewers a glimpse into a gripping, twisted thriller. The Netflix film, set to premiere on October 25, marks Kriti Sanon’s debut as a producer and stars as twin sisters. The story is penned by acclaimed writer Kanika Dhillon and stars Kajol in her first role as a cop.

The relationship between the sisters is fraught with tension, and their mother likens their rivalry to that of the Mahabharata brothers who wage war. As the plot unfolds, one of the twins accuses Shaheer’s character of attempted murder, while Kajol’s cop character is drawn deeper into a twisted web of sibling rivalry and betrayal.

Excited about her dual role and debuting as a producer, Kriti Sanon shared, “Dupati It was very special to me, not only because it was my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on screen.
