The accused are residents of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. They have been identified as Ravinder Singh, his brother Varinder Singh, son Aman Singh and another associate Santosh Singh. It is being told that the daughter of the main accused Ravinder Singh was having an affair with the victim’s brother. Both wanted to get married.
Accused Ravinder Singh was against this relationship of his daughter. He was planning to get her married somewhere else. Meanwhile, his daughter ran away from home with her lover and they both had a love marriage. Meanwhile, the accused along with his family members reached the victim’s house in search of the daughter. When he could not find anything about her, he committed gang rape of the victim to avenge his insult.
The accused made a video of their misdeed and threatened to make it viral and asked the victim to remain silent. After this incident the victim went into depression. He did not say anything to anyone for about two months, but after recovering from the shock, he contacted the police. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC. They are being searched.
