A humiliating case of Khachichi came to light in Darbhanga district of Bihar. Inspector (ASI) Neeraj Kumar, with the help of constable Nishant Ranjan, allegedly demanded Rs 3 lakh from relatives of smuggler Sonu Kumar, who was arrested for carrying liquor. However, the entire deal was concluded for two lakh rupees. Meanwhile, Darbhanga district SSP Jagunath Reddy was also informed about the news.
Thereafter, the Darbhanga Provincial Police laid a trap to nab the accused and deployed many plainclothes policemen and some policemen where the money was to be given. The middleman was arrested by the police as soon as he got there to collect the money. Since then, dealings between police and alcohol smugglers have also come to light. Now, the police have registered an FIR against police middleman Raman Kumar, constable Neeraj Kumar and constable Nishant Ranjan at Kangar police station .

Now, an FIR has been registered at the same police station where he was posted.
Interestingly, the FIR was registered against both of them at the same police station where the two policemen were stationed. Darbhanga SDPO Amit Kumar himself confirmed this. Darbhanga Sadar SDPO Amit Kumar said that on October 22, city patrol officers received a call that a boy named Sonu Kumar was arrested for carrying alcoholic beverages in Kadirabad area.
Demanding Rs 300,000 for release of liquor smugglers
The police immediately took him away, but as the area where the police station was located was a university, Sonu was handed over to the university police station. A day later, the university police registered an FIR against Sonu. After this, new revelations came to light that the drunkard called his cousin Video Kumar, ASI Neeraj Kumar of Nagar police station and a constable Nishant Ranjan caught him drinking and both gave him three days’ probation Time left they charge hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Thereafter, Video Kumar informed senior police officers of the area about the incident. Thereafter, on the orders of the senior police officer and to show the speed of the whole thing, a trap was set up where the money was to be handed over and a plainclothes police officer was deployed. The police agent, Iman Kumar, was arrested by the police as soon as he arrived there to collect the money. Later, after the truth came out during police interrogation, the city police station targeted the arrested middleman Raman Kumar and trainee police officer Neeraj Kumar posted at the city police station as well as police officers Member Nishant Kumar registered. Police are also taking further legal action.
