Cracks appear in ‘Indian alliance’ on Adani issue, Congress in trouble over different stances of TMC-SP!

Mamata Banerjee and Malikajun Karg

After the crushing defeat in Maharashtra, cracks began to appear in the Indian alliance just three days after the Parliament met. The Congress party and Rahul Gandhi have been creating ruckus in Parliament over the Adani issue. The House trial did not continue for three days. At the same time, on the Adani issue, the TMC and Samajwadi Party, the voters of the Indian alliance, have shown a different stance from the Congress party.

The Congress and Rahul Gandhi are trying to force the government into Parliament over the Adani issue. The ruling party did not accept the request to stop discussions on related work. As a result, many issues remain unresolved in both chambers during the first three days of the winter session. The proceedings of the House of Representatives were disrupted. In this situation, the TMC has now clearly told the Congress not to obstruct the proceedings of the House.

Adani has enough problems – TMC

The TMC bluntly told the Congress that the Adani issue is enough and we hope that in addition there are issues that are directly relevant to the public and we also want to raise them. In this regard, TMC leader and Federal House of Representatives member Derek O’Brien said that due to the commotion created by the opposition in the House of Representatives on the Adani issue, many important issues have been affected. The discussion could not take place as the House was buzzing with chatter.

The TMC leader said he hopes the House proceedings will proceed smoothly so that people’s issues can be discussed. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party also explained the proceedings of the House directly to the Congress high command. SP said you are raising Adani issue every day. But why has the Sambhar issue not been raised?

Problems increase in Congress due to SP-TMC stance

The Congress party is at a disadvantage after suffering a major setback in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. She is trying to strengthen the role of the opposition and the oldest party by cornering the government on the Adani issue in the House of Representatives. Congress, however, said it was aligned with the opposition on other issues related to Adani. But the stand of SP and TMC must have put him in a difficult position internally.

In fact, the influence of Samajwadi Party and TMC is greater in the Indian alliance. Each party has 66 members. The TMC hopes to corner the government in the winter session by raising the issue of malnutrition and women’s safety in West Bengal and Manipur. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party wants to make the recent violence in Sambhar, Uttar Pradesh, an issue. In this scenario, now the Congress and Rahul Gandhi will face difficulties due to differences among their allies on the Adani issue.
