Hyderabad’s private space company Skyroot Aerospace and Bengaluru’s Nibe Space have struck a deal to launch satellites. Skyroot will use its own rocket. Nibe Space will build the satellites. 40 such satellites will be launched. All these satellites will take high-resolution images of the earth. These will be used strategically.
This deal is important for both the companies because Skyroot has expertise in launch vehicles. That is, it is an expert in rockets. While Nibe Space is an expert in making satellites. The deal between Skyroot and Nibe Space will give a boost to the Indian space sector. Governments, companies and groups from all over the world will deal with Indian private space companies. Tata Advanced Systems and NSPL are also partners with them.
Nibe Space has named this satellite Ganesh Earth Observation Satellite Constellation. This satellite will contribute to the country’s remote sensing, environmental monitoring and national security capabilities. As the Indian space industry is expanding, such deals are bringing new innovations.
