Contractor murdered in broad daylight in Patna, miscreants shot him while going to temple

In broad daylight, miscreants shot and killed a person in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The incident took place in Sultanganj police station area of ​​Patna City, where a person named Shankar Verma (age – 50 years) was shot three times in quick succession by miscreants. CCTV footage of this murder case has also surfaced in which all four criminals are visible.

There was a stir in the area after this murder which took place in broad daylight. Now Patna Police is busy identifying the miscreants on the basis of CCTV footage. Fifty year old Shankar Verma was attacked by miscreants when he was going to the temple to worship as usual.

Even before he could reach the temple, four criminals suddenly attacked him and shot him dead. After committing the murder, all the accused fled from the spot waving their pistols in the air. This incident of murder was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Sultanganj police station reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to PMCH for post-mortem. Santosh Kumar, brother-in-law of deceased Shankar Verma, told that he had a criminal history and had gone to jail several times.

Santosh Kumar said that after being released from jail, his brother-in-law had built a temple at Rani Ghat near his house and as usual, he was going to worship in the temple with water when this incident happened.

He told that his brother-in-law used to work as a contractor in the building construction department of Bihar government. He had also contested the election of councilor in Patna University area but had to face defeat. The police have claimed that the criminals will be arrested soon.
