Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
Addressing the Congress and the National Conference, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said these people do not want to see peace in the valley. Congress and its allies are working to push the Valley towards terrorism. The chief minister made the remarks while addressing the Chhath Puja event organized by All India Bhojpuri Society at Laxman Mela Ground.
He strongly criticized the Congress and its allies for their remarks on the restoration of Articles 370 and 35A. Some time ago, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly proposed a proposal to restore Article 370 and Article 35A. Talking about this, the Chief Minister said that Congress and its allies do not want to allow terrorism to disappear from the Valley.
No development in sight in Jammu and Kashmir
The chief minister said the Congress did not see the development in Jammu and Kashmir. They cannot afford a bright future for the children in the valley. Their divisive policies will never succeed. The country will never accept destructive policies. He said that the country’s 1.4 billion people will firmly safeguard unity and integrity under any circumstances. The people of the whole country will give those who play this game a due reply.
Come together through festivals
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that if the proposal is not opposed by the Congress, then it too will be deleted like Article 370 and 35A. We only get together during festivals. It is easy for people to rule us only after dividing them in the name of religion and caste. Some people are trying to destroy the identity of the country but we as real Indians do not need to tolerate this.

Following this historic decision by Parliament, the special statehood of Jammu and Kashmir was abrogated from the constitution.
