Congress releases second 7-member list for Jharkhand elections
Congress on Thursday announced the second list of seven candidates for the Jharkhand assembly elections. Meanwhile, the party has so far announced a list of 28 candidates for Jharkhand. Congress is now left to declare candidates for only two seats. The Congress, in alliance with JMM and Janata Dal, won a total of 45 seats.
In the ruling alliance in Jharkhand, apart from the Congress, the RJD won 6 seats and the JMM 45 seats. The left has announced a separate campaign. Candidates for Bokaro and Dhanbad, the remaining two seats of the Congress, have not yet been announced. And JMM has announced 40 candidates so far. The Congress has also fielded a candidate for one of the RJD seats.
Friendly fight with RJD in Vishrampur seat
Meanwhile, the alliance between the Congress and the RJD over the Vishrampur seat has broken down. Both parties have fielded their candidates from here. Congress has appointed Sudhir Kumar Chandravanshi as RJD candidate from Vishrampur seat. It is said that the RJD and the Congress will have a friendly fight on the Vishranpur seat.
