Congress National President Malikajun Haq
On the one hand, the Election Commission refuted the Congress party’s allegations of any irregularities in the Haryana elections as baseless; on the other hand, Congress president Mallikarjun Haq once again accused the BJP of rigging the elections . Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said the prime minister was winning elections through fraud.
Haq, who attended an event in Bengaluru to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the country’s First Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, raised doubts about the authenticity of the EVM. During this time, he also mentioned comments by industrialist Elon Musk questioning the authenticity of the EVM.
Khage asked a question about EVM
Khage said technologist Musk has said the EVM can be changed and hacked via a computer. He said that none of the major Western countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France or Italy use EVM. Not only that, Haq also accused Prime Minister Modi of dividing people on the basis of religion and caste. He said that instead of uniting the people, Prime Minister Modi divided them.

“PM Modi won the election through fraud”
Khaq attacked Prime Minister Modi saying that he did not win the election but it was all a hoax. He removed 10,000 names from the electoral rolls or added 10,000 to 20,000 new names. This is true, but the question is how to prove it.
Haq’s jibe at BJP leaders
Apart from this, the Congress president also mocked the BJP leaders for defending the EVM. He said that the BJP leaders said that when we win, we will not blame the EVM and we will not ask for votes, but when the BJP wins, we will blame the EVM. Haq said we know their (BJP’s) strategy. They know what to do, where and how to do it.
However, this is not the first time that the Congress president has attacked the BJP and the Prime Minister over the EVM issue, as he has raised questions on the EVM many times before. Even after its defeat in the recent Haryana Assembly elections, the Congress had talked of irregularities in the elections, but this claim has been rejected by the Election Commission.
