In a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, CP Joshi said: “Ordinary citizens of the country have suffered because of Rahul Gandhi’s speeches.” Who gave Rahul Gandhi the right to go abroad and insult the country? I have written to the Lok Sabha Speaker requesting confiscation of his passport. Either Rahul Gandhi resigns as leader of the opposition or the government confiscates his passport.
The Congress also retaliated against the letter written by the BJP MP. Congress MP Manikam Tagore said the BJP leaders were joking. A BJP MP has written to the Speaker demanding cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s passport. Speakers of the Lok Sabha are rarely passport holders. The BJP MP did not know who had canceled the passport. It’s one thing to be a member of Congress, it’s another thing to know things. Om Birla does not provide passports.

During his recent visit to the United States, Rahul Gandhi delivered a speech in Virginia and interacted with hundreds of people from the Indian-American community.
