According to sources, the three component parties have agreed on 120 to 130 seats out of the total 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, the parties that won the 2019 assembly elections will contest again on the same seats. However, around 10 to 20 per cent of the seats won earlier will be exchanged.

In the four-hour meeting, various constituencies in Mumbai-Konkan, Marathwada, West Maharashtra, and North Maharashtra were discussed in detail. Earlier, the meeting was held on September 18. The entire process lasted for about three and a half hours. In this meeting, Uddhav faction occupied 20 seats in Mumbai, Congress occupied 18 seats, and Sharad faction occupied 7 seats. There are rumors that there will be a fight between the Congress and Uddhav group for 6 seats.
