Congress denies, Ajit Pawar accepts…These rebels also get tickets from NCP

The Ajit Pawar-led NCP, which is part of the NDA alliance, has announced the list of 38 candidates. Two MLAs from Congress were given tickets. Notably, two Congress MPs to whom Ajit Pawar issued tickets were accused of cross-voting in the Legislative Assembly.

The first name in Ajit’s organization list is Hiraman Khoskar from Igatpuri. Ajit Pawar’s NCP has given him a ticket. Koska had earlier served in Congress, but during the Legislative Council elections, he was accused of cross-voting. He is also said to have contacted Sharad Pawar, but without success. He has since joined hands with NCP’s Ajit Pawar to get the ticket.

In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ajit Pawar’s party NCP is contesting in the NDA alliance, which includes the Shiv Sena of the BJP and Eknath Shinde faction. The alliance’s seat allocation has been finalized and the BJP can contest the election in 152-155 seats. While Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena is expected to get 78-80 seats, NCP can contest 52-54 seats.

Ajit Pawar gets 38 seats

Ajit Pawar-led NCP has announced a list of 38 candidates. The party may field more candidates in the future. In the last assembly election, Ajit Pawar won by a margin of 165,000 votes.

Kiran Lamhate got tickets from Ahmednagar

Two Muslim candidates also got tickets

Hasan Mushrif was one of the 18 NCP MPs who along with Ajit Pawar rebelled against the party. Hasan Mushrif was also one of the eight MLAs who rebelled along with Ajit Pawar and were sworn in as ministers. He has also previously held ministerial posts.

Former Labodi MP Najeeb Mulla, who was once close to Sharad Pawar’s deputy, defected from the party and joined Ajit Pawar of the National Congress Party (NCP).
