How is the design?
Design is the primary point for any phone. That is, whether you will buy the phone or not, you decide on the look of that phone only. In terms of design, you will neither get a glossy finish nor the use of metal panel in CMF Phone 1.

However, to make it unique, the company has given a replaceable back panel, which was not seen for many years. This is a good effort by the brand, but only time will tell how much people like this effort. We have shown this phone to many people in our review and their responses were mixed.
Some people found the design of this phone quite unique, while others found it boring. Design is entirely a matter of choice. The company has given a plastic back in it, which can be replaced. However, the official back panel price is two thousand rupees. The phone comes with a flat screen and seems light in weight, which it is not. That means the company has done a good weight balance.
display
CMF Phone 1 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, which comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is very bright. It can be easily used in sunlight or indoor conditions. The colors come out very bright on this.
However, we found its brightness to be average in outdoor conditions. It could have been done better. It comes with Widevine L1 certification. That means HD content can be seen on it. Touch experience is also good.
camera
Dual rear camera setup is available in CMF Phone 1, which has a 50MP primary lens. The camera works well as per the budget in outdoor conditions, but the quality of photos is not good in indoor conditions. The phone has a 2MP secondary camera. At the front, the company has provided a 16MP selfie camera.
This smartphone does not impress much in terms of camera. This phone gives decent output in daylight, but in low-light the CMF Phone 1 is not very effective.
performance
The smartphone comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. This smartphone comes in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Storage can be increased up to 2TB with the help of micro SD card. This phone does not disappoint in terms of performance.
This phone works well according to its budget. Nothing OS offers you a very unique experience in this budget. You do not get bloatware in this. You also get an experience like Nothing in the phone. In this, operational system updates will be available for 2 years and security updates will be available for 3 years.
Battery and Charging
CMF Phone 1 has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. However, you do not get any charger in the phone box. For this you will have to buy a charger separately. It takes more than an hour for the smartphone to be fully charged.
In this you get a single speaker. Haptic experience is also good. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, whose speed is good. We do not see any problem in terms of network and connectivity.

Now the question comes whether you should buy this phone. You also get many other options in this budget, but this handset comes with a clean UI experience. This is a different type of phone in which you can install different attachments. There is no need to install a cover, because you can replace its entire back panel. However, the back panel will have to be purchased. Apart from this, there is also an option to install power pack. By having 2-3 back panel attachments, you can change them continuously, so you will always feel like you are using a new phone.
In this you get a unique look, strong battery, good performance, but in the matter of camera you will have to compromise a bit. The camera should have been better, especially its portrait mode is disappointing.
If you want a phone with a unique look and clean experience in a budget of Rs 15,000, then you can buy it. Its base variant seems more value for money to us. At present you can buy it after discount for Rs 15 thousand. This is a good option in this budget.
