UP CM Yogi Adityanath held an important meeting with officials regarding the upcoming festivals and celebrations. In the meantime, CM Yogi said that in the coming days, there will be some special festivals like Dhanteras, Ayodhya Deepotsav, Deepawali, Govardhan Puja, Bhai Dooj, Devotthan Ekadashi, Varanasi Dev Deepawali and Chhath Mahaparva. Apart from this, Ayodhya will also host exhibitions such as Panchkosi, 14 Kosi Parikrama, Kartik Purnima Snan etc. during this period. CM Yogi directed police to be more vigilant on social media. Each region should have a team that monitors social media on an ongoing basis. Strict action should be taken against those who create fake accounts and spread rumors/fake news that damages the environment.

During Diwali, ensure that firecracker shops and warehouses are kept away from crowds. Anyone who buys or sells firecrackers should do a good job in fire protection bidding. Police forces should also remain active. Firecracker shops should be opened in open areas. License/NOC should be issued to them promptly. Strictly crack down on illegal storage of firecrackers. It was also said that all beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme should get free LPG cylinders before Diwali. There should be no delays at any level. There is also coordination with the agency.

During the meeting, CM Yogi directed the officials to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted power supply across the state from October 28 to November 15 on this occasion of joy and enthusiasm. Electric power companies should make necessary preparations for this. Emergency health services and trauma services should continue uninterrupted.
