A sensational case of murder being made to look like a suicide has come to light in Shahjahanpur, UP. Actually, the 20-year-old accused youth wanted to forcibly keep a 40-year-old woman with him. The woman was beaten up when she protested. Hurt by this, the woman hanged herself. The police registered a case against seven people on the complaint of the minor daughter of the deceased woman. Meanwhile, the post-mortem report revealed that the woman was strangulated to death. After which the police arrested two accused.
Actually, a teenager from a village in Thana Puwaiya area told that her father had died in 2016. A young man named Surjeet used to talk to her 40-year-old mother Kanchan. Surjeet’s family did not like this. On the evening of 31 August, Surjeet came to her mother. Surjeet’s family also reached there later. They beat up the mother.
The teenager further said that even after this, her mother was beaten up and tortured. Due to which, the mother committed suicide. Her mother’s body was found hanging from a noose. At first, it seemed like a case of suicide but later it was found out that it was murder.
In this case, CO Pankaj Pant says that two accused who strangled the woman to death and hanged her to make it look like a suicide have been arrested. A case was registered on the basis of the complaint filed by the deceased’s daughter on the night of 1 September.
During the investigation and on the basis of the post-mortem report, it was found that the woman was murdered by strangulation. On September 3, the Puwaiya police station arrested two accused Surjeet and Rajesh. Now further action is being taken.
