Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Christmas celebrations organized by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) at 6:30 pm today at the CBCI Center in Delhi. Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi attended the Christmas celebrations at the residence of Union Minister George Kurien in Delhi, where he received a warm welcome and interacted with prominent figures from the Christian community. “Participating in the Christmas celebrations at the residence of Union Minister George Kurien Ji,” Prime Minister Modi said while sharing the post on X. He also interacted with prominent members of the Christian community.
The Prime Minister was given a grand welcome at Kurien’s official residence and flowers were presented to him. Celebrated every year on December 25, Christmas marks the birth of Jesus Christ and is celebrated religiously and culturally by billions of people around the world. On Christmas Eve, people across the country hold midnight prayers. The church is decorated with holiday lights. People celebrating the festival set off firecrackers.
