Everyone in the industry is aware of the anger of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Often celebs are seen making many revelations about him. Seema Pahwa, who played an important role in Gangubai Kathiawadi with Bhansali, also expressed her opinion on this. Seema told how Alia Bhatt saved a child artist from Bhansali’s anger. She also said how this incident changed her perspective for the actress.

The child is the victim of Bhansali’s anger

Seema Pahwa played the role of sex worker Sheela in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Sharing her experience, Seema said that she did not think that Alia would be so down-to-earth in nature. But seeing the actress’s behavior, her mind changed.

Seema said in an interview to Hindi Rush- I had this thought in my mind that she is a new girl and from a filmy family, I wonder how she will be as a person. But, I was surprised. She treated me with a lot of respect. Maybe because Sanjay introduced me to her as a senior actor. But, an incident on the set changed my view about her.

Aaliya saved me

Seema said- In one scene, there was a little girl who had to act as if she was asleep and then she had to speak a dialogue. They were shooting that one scene for a long time. It was around 3 in the morning. The girl was feeling sleepy. So, whenever she went to bed, she would actually fall asleep and could not speak her dialogue. This made Sanjay very angry and irritated. He was shouting, ‘Why does she fall asleep every time?’ At that time Alia Bhatt came to help her. I saw it myself. She told the child artist that ‘When I pull your hand, you speak your dialogue.’ It was a selfless gesture that impressed me.

Let us tell you, Gangubai Kathiawadi proved to be the biggest hit film released during the Covid pandemic. According to Selkin’s report, the film earned Rs 211.5 crore worldwide.
