Chhattisgarh: Gold worth Rs 5 crore looted in 15 minutes, bike-borne robbers fled towards Jharkhand with 8 kg jewellery

A daylight robbery incident has been reported from Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh. Where armed miscreants raided a jewellery shop and fled after looting 8 kg of gold jewellery. The value of the jewellery is said to be around Rs 5 crore.

It is suspected that the miscreants had thoroughly recced the shop before the incident. After looting, the miscreants fled towards Jharkhand on a bike. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigation. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of anger among the shopkeepers and they are demanding the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible.

Armed miscreants looted a jewellery shop

This incident which took place in broad daylight at Nagar Palika Chowk in Ramanujganj spread panic among the shopkeepers. The victim Rajesh Jewelers said that three miscreants on a bike entered the shop and held all the employees captive by showing a gun. To spread panic, the miscreants hit Rajesh Soni on the head with the butt of the gun and injured him and threatened to shoot him.

Bike riding miscreants ran away with jewelry worth five crores

The robbers stole the gold jewellery kept in the locker and the shop and fled away on a bike after keeping it in a bag. All three fled towards Jharkhand. The miscreants had parked the bike in front of a cobbler’s shop. They committed the crime in just 15 minutes. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started searching for the miscreants.
