Chhattisgarh: Dispute over lighting a bulb, wife killed husband by hitting him with a stick

A shocking incident of murder has come to light from Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. Where a wife killed her husband over a trivial matter. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. It is being told that the wife hit the husband on the head with a stick so hard that he died on the spot. This entire case is of village Batwahi of Raghunathpur outpost.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Dilsai Nagesh. On September 6, Dilsai had a dispute with his wife Panmeshwari over lighting a bulb. The wife asked him to turn on the lights in the house at night, but the husband ignored it. After which there was a heated argument between the two and in anger the wife hit the husband on the head with a stick. Husband Dilsai died on the spot.

The deceased’s brother Sajaram Nagesh said that he saw the husband and wife fighting. He went to his house with their children. After a while he came to know that the matter escalated to a fight. When he came back, he saw that Dilsai was lying unconscious on the bed. His wife was biting him. Immediately he somehow picked up his brother and took him to the hospital. Where after examination, the doctors declared him dead.

Police arrested the woman

Police say that there was a dispute between the husband and wife over lighting a bulb. The wife killed the husband by hitting him with a stick. The accused woman has been arrested and the case is under investigation. Further action will be taken accordingly.
