A video from Balrampur in Chhattisgarh has gone viral. A car ran over an innocent child. The child was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. But the innocent child died during treatment. Let us tell you that a huge tragedy struck the family of former district Congress member and BJP leader Dheeraj Singhdev on Tuesday night. His 6-year-old son Swatantra Singhdev alias Shubh was killed in a road accident in Vasundhara Vihar Colony in Godhanpur Unfortunately died.
Dheeraj Singhdev, along with his wife and son, came to visit his sister and brother-in-law’s house. Around 10 p.m., as he was preparing to go home, his son was hit by a car while playing outside. The car ran over the child’s stomach, causing him serious injuries. The incident was captured on CCTV installed nearby. The motorist ran over the child and ran away.
Innocent 6-year-old child was run over by car
The family immediately rushed him to Sanjivani Hospital where doctors, seeing his serious condition, shifted him to Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur. Swatantra Singhdev died while undergoing treatment at 7 am on Wednesday. After the incident, Abhishek Singh, a colonel and brother-in-law of the BJP leader, caught hold of the accused driver and beat him up.
The police filed a case and started investigation
Thereafter, he was handed over to Gandhinagar police. After receiving a complaint from the victim’s father, the police registered a case and launched an investigation. The family of the deceased child burst into tears after the tragic incident.
